Atlantic Reefmaker staff, Phillip Todd, wrote a white paper entitled ‘Shoreline Protection of Historic and Cultural Resources at Brunswick Town-Fort Anderson’ and submitted it to the Western Dredging Association (WEDA) as part of their call for paper related to the upcoming Dredging Summit and Expo ’19 (June 3-7 in Chicago, Illinois). This paper described past stabilization methods of the historic site, documented why the Reefmaker concept was the best solution for the BTFA site over a rock breakwater structure, noted Phase 2 adjustments from the lessons learned on Phase 1, and described the monitoring results of the project to date. WEDA accepted the paper, and Mr. Todd will present the paper at WEDA Dredging Summit and Expo ’19 in Session 5B at 3.40 PM on Thursday, June 6, 2019 (https://dredging-expo.com/general-schedule).
